Almacen El Gallo aims to open mid-to-late June. Adrian Burciaga, founder of Burciaga Group, which includes Tinie’s under its umbrella, told WhatNow Dallas he aims to deliver an elevated yet affordable Mexican cuisine experience, “with this restaurant, we saw an opportunity to bring a more affordable, but still elevated experience. Something fun, more casual, still nice and elevated, respecting our traditions, culture, and gastronomy, but making it fun at the same time.”

The concept is designed to make a lasting impact in Fort Worth. However, if the restaurant performs well, Texas markets like Dallas or Frisco could be next. “Chances are that we would like to explore another market like Dallas or Frisco, and perhaps even Houston, with the same concept. We’re just gonna be open for opportunities to see if we find the right space at the right time,” Burciaga said.

The restaurant Almacen El Gallo was founded by Adrian Burciaga, who previously worked at Fort Worth’s upscale Mexican restaurants, including Don Artemio as a co-owner and Dos Mares as as the creator. For this concept, Burciaga partnered with Martín Quilarte, chef Rodrigo Rivera Río, and his wife, María José Cervantes, to create an elevated ambiance infused with nostalgia.

The restaurant will be located at 500 W. 7th St., Suite 175, inside First on 7th, the former First National Bank of Fort Worth. Almacen El Gallo will also sell merchandise inspired by the nostalgic imagery of La Lotería, created by Fernando Rojas, who developed 54 original illustrations that will appear throughout the space and on branded items such as beverage coasters, T-shirts, and hats, reinforcing the concept’s nostalgic and culturally rooted atmosphere.
