This summer, the White Tee Indoor Golf Club plans to open its doors in Odessa, at 11041 SR 54. According to its website, this “private indoor club designed for the modern golfer,” a place “where data meets craft, and every round counts,” is currently under construction.
This week, What Now came across plan review documents submitted by The White Tee LLC for a restaurant project called the White Tee at the State Road 54 address.
Details on the restaurant component at the White Tee are still not available, although its amenities include 16-foot premium golf bays, a Lounge & Putting Green, a Warmup & Cardio Corner, a Members Bar, a Dressing Room & Lockers, and even a Creator Studio for podcasting and other content creation.
One of the White Tee’s signature features is indoor golf enhanced by augmented reality: “Your session data — swing speed, ball speed, spin rate, carry distance — projected live onto the bay floor beneath you,” the website says. “No screen to glance at. No distraction. Your numbers become part of your environment, creating an augmented reality experience unique to The White Tee.”
Overall, it’s clear that the White Tee is set to be a major boon to golf lovers in Odessa.
What Now reached out on Monday to Miguel Rodriguez, the principal behind The White Tee LLC, to ask about plans for the indoor golf attraction. Rodriguez was not immediately available for comment.
