Infuse Wine is expanding. The community-focused and unique wine bar is expected to open in Houston’s historic Fifth Ward, specifically in the up-and-coming Warehouse District/Arts District area. According to a recently filed permit, Infuse Wine is planned to open inside the creative mixed-use development, Moncrief Lenoir campus, a.k.a the DEALco Property at 2103 Lyons, Suite 4101.

The permit further details that construction on the new Infuse Wine bar is slated to start in mid-July and wrap up towards the end of August this year. If all goes well with the construction of the 1,683 square-foot property, which is estimated to cost $67,320 to build, Infuse Wine should open by this fall.

The complex where the new Infuse Wine will live sits directly across the street from the Saint Arnold Brewing Company. The new establishment will be a welcome addition to the historic community.

Distinguished as Houston’s first wine infusion bar, Infuse Wine allows guests to customize their wine with fresh flavors on the spot, while highlighting small-batch and minority-owned wine brands.

In 2021, Founder Krystal Spencer started the business with no lines of credit or bank loans, building the brand entirely from scratch using her personal savings, part-time jobs, and relentless dedication while completing her Master’s Degree.

What Now Houston reached out to Spencer to find out more details about the upcoming opening, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.

Infuse Wine initially operated as a mobile pop-up and an online wine brand before launching its first brick-and-mortar location. After a highly anticipated build-out process in the Houston Arts District, the permanent storefront officially opened its doors.

“Have fun with your wine,” the Infuse Wine Bar Instagram page reads.

“Build your wine kit & infuse your wine TODAY! 15+ FLAVORS to mix & match! We host wine parties & INFUSE GLASSES ON THE SPOT!”

The bar also focuses on wine education in a relaxed, approachable environment rather than an elitist one, frequently featuring art, music, and guided infusion tasting labs.

Infuse Wine is anticipated to open in the DEALco Property at 2103 Lyons, Suite 4101, by this fall.
