New hotel The Lawrence is gearing up to open in Lawrenceville this summer. Bookings are now available beginning on Aug. 28, according to a release.
The Lawrence, which is part of Hilton’s Tapestry Collection, will feature 120 guest rooms and suites alongside two dining concepts: Bellfire and Old Nick’s. Bellfire will feature a Mediterranean and Southern-inspired menu, offering entrees such as fish and grits, stuffed local trout and grilled bison sirloin. Old Nick’s will serve as the hotel’s bar and lounge, offering craft cocktails, whiskeys and small plates.
The hotel will also feature a fitness center, an open-air courtyard and more than 6,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space.
“As we open reservations and prepare to welcome our first guests, we are excited to introduce a hotel that reflects the energy and evolution of downtown Lawrenceville,” Greg Winey, president and principal of NorthPointe Hospitality Management & Development, said in the release. “We’ve envisioned The Lawrence as much more than just a place to stay, but a place where visitors are exposed to the history and heritage of Lawrenceville, organizations turn to for meetings and events, tourists enjoy an accommodation experience that feels polished and approachable, and locals enjoy frequenting for date nights, dining and even staycation experiences that encourage them to rediscover their own city.”
The team is rolling out experience-driven packages for customers in tandem with the hotel launch, including The Bellfire Escape package, which includes a dining credit at the Bellfire, and The Craft & Sip Experience, which includes a mixologist-guided cocktail tasting for two at Old Nick’s, a $50 bar credit and a morning breakfast at Bellfire.
