Japanese curry spot Tanuki Curry House is planning to relocate. The restaurant will move from its location in Signal Hill to The Hangar at Long Beach Exchange, according to a recent social media announcement.

Tanuki Curry House, known for its Japanese curry and katsu, opened last summer in Signal Hill.

“We’ve had a great run in Signal Hill and are thankful for everything this past year,” the team stated in the social media announcement. “We can’t wait to see you in our new home at the LBX.”

Longbeachize reports that Tanuki Curry House will be taking over the space formerly home to Wagyu Street, which recently announced that it closed at the end of April in The Hangar at LBX after a two-year run.

As of now, a relocation timeline remains unclear, with Tanuki Curry House stating that updates on the new space are forthcoming. What Now Los Angeles has reached out to Tanuki Curry House owner Erwin Angeles for additional information regarding the opening timeline.
