Joe & The Juice is bringing its signature blend of fresh juices, coffee and sandwiches to Fort Lauderdale.

The Copenhagen-based company recently filed permit applications with the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation to open a Joe & the Juice at 1900 N. Federal Highway.  An opening date has not been announced.

The fast-growing Danish chain has built a loyal following around the world for its made-to-order beverages, healthy menu options and energetic café atmosphere.

Founded in Copenhagen in 2002 by former karate champion Kaspar Basse, Joe & The Juice has grown from a single juice bar into a global brand with more than 500 locations across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

The chain is known for its fresh-pressed juices, specialty coffees, protein shakes and popular sandwiches, including the Tunacado, a tuna-and-avocado creation that became a social media sensation. Joe & The Juice also caters events and even has a rolling juice bus that can roll up to your next party.

The Fort Lauderdale location will add to the brand’s growing South Florida presence, joining existing stores throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.
