The adaptive reuse project gets a name.
As of last week, what has until now been known as “Grant Park Entertainment District” has an official name.
Developer Pellerin Real Estate revealed renderings for The Beacon Atlanta on the company’s Facebook page this week, announcing the adaptive reuse project’s name.
The Beacon, at 1039 Grant Street, will span about 110,000 square feet on nine acres on the Beltline across six existing industrial warehouse buildings being converted to suit the project.
Pellerin will take a “two-tiered” approach to the project with both a daytime and a night time component.
“The daytime experience will be grounded in daily lifestyle uses that weave a fabric into the local community – essentially uses that become routine to the local economy as well as a daytime destination,” Pellerin said.
