Luxury fitness brand Equinox is planning its Georgia debut. It will open a 44,000-square-foot club in 2027 at Buckhead Village next to fashion retailer COS, according to a release.
The club will feature luxury facilities, including a full-services spa, group fitness and Pilates classes, personal coaching and wellness offerings.
“We’re thrilled to introduce Equinox’s category-defining fitness experience at Buckhead Village,” Adam Schwegman, head of retail leasing at Jamestown, said in the release. “The brand’s signature, elevated approach to wellness and hospitality fits seamlessly with the roster we’re focused on building for this community.”
New York-based design firm Goodrich is spearheading the design, with plans to create a modern yet inviting space with natural materials, clean forms and residential touches.
“Atlanta has long been one of the most important markets on our growth roadmap, and Buckhead Village presented a unique opportunity to introduce the Equinox experience in a location that reflects the energy, sophistication and lifestyle of the city,” Andy Subervi, head of development at Equinox, said in the release. “We look forward to creating a flagship destination that sets a new standard for luxury fitness and wellness in Atlanta.”
Equinox has been expanding across the Southeast, recently opening in West Palm Beach. The brand now has more than 100 fitness clubs across the world, with six existing locations across the Southeast.
Luxury womenswear brand ME+EM and New York-based brand LoveShackFancy opened in May at Buckhead Village. Highly-anticipated fashion boutique Jeffrey will open in August.
