A new general store, created by a survivor of the Palisades fire, is opening next month. The store will feature products from several Palisades-based brands. The opening will be marked with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Pali Trading Post is Opening in California
Pali Trading Post will open in Pacific Palisades on July 1, 2026. The new general store will be located at 15248 W Sunset Blvd. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 11:25 a.m. on opening day.
Pali Trading Post is owned by Michelle Murphy, a survivor of the Palisades fire. The opening comes as Pacific Palisades continues rebuilding following the 2025 fire.
Murphy, a longtime Pacific Palisades resident who lost her home in the fire. She said the community’s resilience inspired her to open the store. The store will also serve as a gift shop celebrating the neighborhood’s history and identity.

A Look at the Products Featured in the Store
Pali Trading Post will offer products popular with local residents. It will feature Palisades-based brands including SoulByrd, This Girl Walks Into a Bar, Tessa James Collection, and Coast and Canyon. The store will also carry products from wellness brands such as Kai, Roz, and Osea, which supported residents affected by the Palisades fire.
The shop will also sell merchandise from the Live Like Braun collection. The proceeds will benefit the Live Like Braun Foundation, which honors local student Braun Levi.
Pali Trading Post intends to serve as a gathering place for the neighborhood. The store aims to help reconnect residents as Pacific Palisades continues its recovery efforts.
