What Now reported back in January on plans for Jeff’s Bagel Run, the Central-Florida born bagel shop that is expanding throughout Florida and in states like Georgia and Texas, to open its first bagel shop in Pinellas County at 4058 Tampa Rd in Oldsmar.

According to Google Maps, that location is still “Coming Soon,” but, in the meantime, the brand is already at work on its second location in the county. Pinellas’s second Jeff’s Bagel Run will open in Clearwater, at 2325 Ulmerton Road, Unit 1, in the Feather Sound Square business center, according to coverage by the Tampa Bay Business Journal.

“Jeff’s Bagel Run is opening another Pinellas County location as part of an ambitious expansion plan that could bring nearly a dozen shops to the Tampa Bay area through multiple franchise deals,” the coverage says.

Opening in Unit 1, Jeff’s Bagel Run will replace a former OB/GYN office, notes further coverage by St. Pete Rising: “Local franchisee Tony Trunzo plans to renovate the 1,320-square-foot storefront into a bagel shop with limited indoor seating.”

Founded by Jeff and Danielle Perera in 2019, Jeff’s Bagel Run serves up scratch-made bagels in varieties like Asiago Everything, Cacio E Pepe, Rosemary Salt, and Cinnamon Sugar. These are topped off with spread flavors like Banana Pudding, Cake Batter, Cannoli, and Chive & Onion.

What Now reached out to Tony Trunzo on Tuesday to ask about plans for the Feather Sound Square opening. Trunzo was not immediately available for comment.
