A new tea room called Blue Dahlia is looking to open at 10016 Commerce Ave. in Tujunga, according to a recent filing with Los Angeles City Planning. Owner Edna Isayan told What Now Los Angeles that the team is currently in the permitting stages and is hoping for an opening around the end of the year.

Plans display renovations of a 956-square-foot space that formerly housed a retail concept. Additions will include kitchen, dining and storage spaces. The dining room features tables throughout the space that will likely seat between 30 to 40 customers.

What Now Los Angeles is awaiting further details regarding the menu and design plans for the space.
