Carmela Coffee is continuing its rapid South Florida expansion with a new café planned for Avenir Town Center at 12515 Northlake Boulevard, Suite 110, in Palm Beach Gardens. The opening was posted both on the Avenir Town Center site and on Carmela Coffee’s site as “coming soon”

The neighborhood coffeehouse will join the growing lineup of restaurants and retailers at the mixed-use destination, which is expected to open in phases beginning in summer 2026.

Founded in 2018 by Rainier Abreu and Rafael Baretta, Carmela Coffee has built a loyal following with its farm-to-cup philosophy, sourcing coffee beans directly from the company’s family-owned farm in Costa Rica before roasting them in Florida. Beyond handcrafted espresso drinks and specialty coffees, the café offers a selectin of tea drinks and lemonades. Carmela’s is also known for its all-day breakfast, gourmet toast selections, brunch favorites and welcoming community atmosphere.

The Avenir shop will become one of 17 Carmela Coffee locations either open or in development across Florida and New York.  The brand is currently in expansion mode with more locations coming soon.
