“Northern Italian” fare is is headed to The Shops Buckhead Atlanta.
Thirteen Pies is officially out at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta as of last Saturday, April 30, but don’t expect a radically different concept to take over the space.
Today, Dallas-based national brand Lombardi Family Restaurants announced that the company is planning to open their “Northern Italian” concept Taverna at the location this October.
The eatery will be similar to Thirteen Pies, as menu items would include oven-fired pizzas, salads, delicate pastas, and something the restaurant calls “fabulous risotto.”
Taverna plans to serve lunch and dinner daily, and brunch on both Saturdays and Sundays.
In addition to Dallas,the restaurant has locations in Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, Laguna Beach, and recently, in Akumal, Mexico.
