A new concept blending specialty grocery shopping with casual dining is headed to North Miami Beach.

Sterline Vil filed permit applications with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation to open Double Take Market & Eatery, located at 319 N.E. 167th Street, creating a neighborhood destination where guests can shop for premium ingredients, enjoy a freshly prepared meal or pick up ready-to-eat favorites. An exact opening date has not been announced.

According to Business Debut, Double Take will celebrate the diverse flavors of the Caribbean in the form of a combination market and restaurant. The market will feature specialty dry goods, imported Haitian products, organic rice, premium meats, fresh seafood, and sausages.  Catering and meal-prep services will add convenience for busy families and professionals.

The restaurant will offer a fusion menu inspired by Haitian, Puerto Rican, Dominican and American cuisine. Guests can expect everything from breakfast and lunch specialties to fresh seafood and grilled meats, including the opportunity to select hand-cut steaks from the market’s meat case and have them cooked to order.
