Gioia Hospitality Group is expanding its South Florida footprint with plans for a new waterfront restaurant at 560 NE 34th Street, Unit 101 in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood.

The approximately 11,500-square-foot restaurant, including 2,500 square feet of outdoor dining space, will anchor the ground floor of Aimco’s luxury waterfront development overlooking Biscayne Bay. Scheduled to open in late 2027 or early 2028, the concept will feature an outdoor bar on the bay and showcase the group’s signature steak program, fresh seafood and elevated waterfront dining experience.

Founded by father-and-daughter team Thomas and Kassidy Angelo, Gioia Hospitality Group has quickly established itself as one of South Florida’s growing hospitality companies. Its portfolio includes Daniel’s, A Florida Steakhouse in Fort Lauderdale, Daniel’s Miami, D’s Sports Bar, and the upcoming La Sponda at Vita at Grove Isle. Daniel’s Miami was recently ranked No. 40 on the World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants list for 2026, while Daniel’s Fort Lauderdale has earned recognition in the Michelin Guide.

The new restaurant will be designed by internationally renowned Rockwell Group, founded by architect David Rockwell, whose portfolio includes acclaimed restaurants, hotels and entertainment venues worldwide.

The waterfront project represents Gioia Hospitality Group’s largest restaurant to date and signals the company’s continued investment in the South Florida dining scene as it expands into one of Miami’s fastest-growing neighborhoods.
