Rise Baking Company Relocating

The Minneapolis-based bakery manufacturer Rise Baking Company is moving its Innovation Center from Tucker to Uptown Atlanta. The move will take place later this year, following the expiration of the company’s current lease. The new Commercial and Customer Center of Excellence will be located at 575 Main Street NE.
The new facility will include more than 30,000 square feet of office and research and development (R&D) space. It will bring together Atlanta-based teams, including R&D, customer service, operations, procurement, commercialization, and payroll.
The company will continue operating its manufacturing facilities in Tucker and Douglasville, maintaining its production presence in the Atlanta area. The move to Uptown Atlanta marks an important step in the company’s growth.
The new center will be located within Uptown Atlanta, a 47-acre mixed-use development featuring office space, restaurants, retail, green spaces, and access to the Lindbergh MARTA Station. The office amenities include a fitness center, conference facilities, collaborative workspaces, and a game room with a golf simulator.
“We are proud to welcome Rise Baking Company to Uptown,” said Eric Schiela, COO for Rubenstein Partners. “The company’s commitment to innovation aligns perfectly with Uptown’s vibrant community of office tenants and retail concepts, and we are excited to support its continued growth in the Atlanta market.”
New Center Designed to Support Expansion
According to the company, the relocation is an investment in innovation, collaboration, employee experience, and customer engagement. The new space is designed to support its teams and customers better as the business grows.
The more than 30,000-square-foot facility will provide additional space for product development and expand its research capabilities. It brings together different departments in one location, making collaboration and decision-making easier. The location offers easy access to MARTA, major roads, and pedestrian trails, which makes it more convenient for employees, customers, and business partners to reach.
“As we look ahead, this move allows us to evolve our environment in a way that better supports our people, our customers, and how we work together,” said Mark McNeil, CEO of Rise Baking Company. “It’s an investment in building a true Commercial and Customer Center of Excellence that reflects who we are today and where we’re headed, not only in terms of our capabilities, but also in providing an environment where our people can connect, collaborate, and thrive.”
Rise Baking Company expects to complete the relocation later this year. The new facility is intended to support the company’s continued growth by providing a collaborative workspace.
