Crunch Fitness is making a major push into the Portland region and beyond, with franchisee Fitness Ventures LLC opening three new locations this summer in Troutdale, Salem, and Vancouver, Washington, all debuting the brand’s next-generation Crunch 3.0 format, and each one represents a $5 million investment.
In Troutdale, the new 55,000-square-foot gym is coming to 2457 SW Cherry Park Road, making it one of the largest fitness facilities in the eastern Portland metro. In Salem, Crunch will open a 50,000-square-foot location at 2025 Lancaster Drive NE this summer. And in Vancouver, the existing Crunch Vancouver Plaza is being completely reimagined at 7800 NE Fourth Plain Blvd with a fresh 50,000-square-foot space while the current location stays open throughout construction so existing members aren’t interrupted.
All three locations will debut the Crunch 3.0 design, a reimagined gym format that blends modern aesthetics with an expanded amenities package including top-tier cardio and strength equipment, dedicated group fitness studios, Hot Yoga, cycling classes, a HiitZone functional training area with indoor turf, tanning, HydroMassage beds, red light therapy, Kids Crunch babysitting, and full-service locker rooms with showers and a sauna.
The three openings are part of a staggering growth year for Fitness Ventures, which currently operates more than 85 Crunch locations nationwide and plans to open at least 15 more before the end of 2026. The Salem location will be the company’s 87th club overall.
