Los Angeles-based Boulevard Hospitality Group, the team behind concepts such as Yamashiro Hollywood, Udatsu Sushi LA and Cork & Batter Roadhouse in Simi Valley, has a new project on the way to Woodland Hills. Durango is slated to open at 6316 Topanga Canyon Blvd, Suite 1110, at Topanga Village, according to a recent ABC filing. The space was formerly home to XOC Tequila Grill.
Durango Woodland Hills will be the second for the Durango brand, joining Durango Cocina & Rooftop in Rancho Cucamonga, which opened in spring 2025. Owner Freddy Braidi told What Now Los Angeles in a message that they are targeting an opening in early 2027 in Woodland Hills.
Durango Cocina & Rooftop, located above the Sanctity Hotel in Rancho Cucamonga, offers menu items inspired by Durango, Mexico.
“Our restaurant is a celebration of Latin cuisine, where age-old cooking techniques meet modern culinary innovation,” the website states. “Every dish is a tribute to the authentic flavors of Durango — whether it’s cooking on stone, over fire pits, or wrapping ingredients in banana leaves, we bring these traditions to life with the finest locally-sourced ingredients and contemporary flair.”
Menu items include entrees such as tomahawk steak, chicken adobo, carne asada and taco plates. There is also a specialty cocktail menu.
Additional details regarding the design of the Woodland Hills space are still forthcoming. Braidi plans to share additional details as they grow closer to opening.
