Academy of Cream, the ice cream shop at 1412 Pinehurst Road in Dunedin, appears to be at work on an expansion.
This week, What Now came across plans submitted by The Academy of Cream LLC for a new Academy of Cream at 790 Indian Rocks Road in Belleair Bluffs, at the intersection with Mehlenbacher Road.
“We have a cool vibe, a clean shop, and free parking,” says Academy of Cream’s Facebook profile. “We also have Amazing Premium Ice Cream, Cuban made Empanadas and All Beef Hot Dogs! We are pretty confident you will leave with a smile! So what are you waiting for?? See ya soon…”
Opening in the Indian Rocks Road North location, Academy of Cream would join Mirage Emporium Smoke Shop, Oovique Pilates, and Chez Colette’s French Bistro.
What Now reached out to owner Mark Michaelian on Friday to ask about plans for a Belleair Bluffs Academy of Cream. Michaelian was not immediately available for comment.
It has not yet been confirmed whether the location planned for Indian Rocks Road North represents an expansion for Academy of Cream, or a relocation. Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
