Gourmet cinnamon bun concept will be the company’s first East Coast location.
Atlantans can officially get ready to enjoy customizable gourmet cinnamon buns.
Berkeley-based gourmet concept Cinnaholic plans to open this Thursday, June 2 at 8 AM, co-owner Florian Radke told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in an email Tuesday.
The outpost – which will be the first in Georgia – will be located at Edgewood Retail District.
Much anticipation has surrounded the forthcoming Cinnaholic location, which was originally planned to open at the beginning of this year, then in mid-May.
Guests can expect to choose from 30 frosting flavors and a “multitude of toppings.” Buns contain no egg or dairy ingredients and are vegan, kosher, and cholesterol-free. Cinnaholic Edgewood will also serve cookies and brownies.
In April, the location announced a partnership with local hipster favorite Octane Coffee.
Radke and his wife Sharon, who co-founded the company, first pitched their California-based vegan gourmet cinnamon roll shop on the ABC show “Shark Tank” in 2014.
Operating partner Jarrod Nackley told WNA earlier this year that there are as many as 40 more Cinnaholic locations in the works through Atlanta Franchise Group.
