Luxury fashion house coming to Costa Mesa

Schiaparelli is planning to open a boutique at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa. According to an official Instagram announcement, the fashion house will join the shopping center as part of its expanding retail presence. Additional opening details have not yet been announced.

Elsa Schiaparelli founded the fashion house in Paris in 1927 and made it known for haute couture, ready-to-wear collections, leather goods, jewelry, shoes, and accessories. The brand continues to produce couture collections along with luxury accessories and apparel under the direction of Creative Director Daniel Roseberry.

According to the company’s website, Schiaparelli’s collections combine couture craftsmanship with sculptural design elements inspired by the house’s history. Its boutiques carry ready-to-wear clothing, handbags, footwear, fine jewelry, costume jewelry, and other accessories in addition to select couture services.

The South Coast Plaza boutique will expand Schiaparelli’s retail presence in the United States. According to the Instagram announcement, the store is planned for the Costa Mesa shopping center, although an opening date has not been confirmed.
