Target is preparing to expand its Broward County presence with a new store planned for Cypress Creek Station.
The new Target is slated for 6415 N. Andrews Avenue, where it will occupy approximately 121,000 square feet at Cypress Creek Station. Target lists the Fort Lauderdale location as “coming soon” on its website. The project is part of the redevelopment of the former Regal Cypress Creek movie theater and Office Depot spaces, transforming a long-vacant portion of the shopping center into a new retail anchor.
Plans for the location call for a full-size Target featuring an in-store CVS Pharmacy and Starbucks, giving shoppers access to groceries, household essentials, apparel, electronics, beauty products and convenient health and café services under one roof.
Founded in 1962, Target Corporation is headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and is led by chairman and CEO Brian Cornell. The retailer operates more than 2,000 stores nationwide, offering a mix of national brands, exclusive private-label collections and interesting viral collaborations. The store also offers convenient ways to shop, including same-day pickup and delivery.
