The structure would stand along Crescent Avenue.
A sleek new proposed midtown tower could bring more modern design to Midtown’s architecture and add interest to Atlanta’s skyline.
Developer Trillist and sbe, a Los Angeles-based lifestyle hospitality company, are proposing SLS Atlanta Hotel & Residences, a new 42-story structure that would stand at 1122 Crescent Avenue in Midtown, per a statement issued to What Now Atlanta (WNA) Friday.
The development would consist of 213 hotel rooms and 56 condos (not apartments, as has been the case with most recent Midtown residential construction). Condo units would range between 1,600 square feet and 4,000 square feet, and contain a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom units.
SBE’s website shares renderings of the development.
SLS Atlanta Hotels & Residences plans to break ground in early 2017 with completion anticipated by early 2019.
The project is being designed by Smallwoods, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart – the same team behind the design of The Brookwood and The Shops Buckhead Atlanta, among other local projects.

Are they tearing something down for this ? The only parking lot on Crescent Ave also faces Peachtree so that can’t be it or the headline would be different.
the map is wrong… this would go where those crappy (but cheap!) apartments are across the street from sutra lounge. I believe the apartments were originally built to house athletes during the olympics.
The map has been updated. Thank you.
So are they building it? When will they start? The design looks really nice…
