A program that focuses on teaching kids skills to develop their brains, bodies, and life skills through soccer is heading to Georgetown. According to public filings, KidsUnited plans to open its first Georgetown location at 210 Blue Springs Blvd., Suite 104, inside The Junction Corporate Park.

What Now Austin reached out to franchise owners Frank and Brianna Cristofol, who said they’re targeting a November opening, pending permits.

KidsUnited serves children ages 18 months to 9 years old through a soccer-based curriculum developed jointly by a child psychologist and a soccer professional.

The program is built around four pillars: brain, body, life skills, and soccer. “It’s really a thought-out, master-planned program,” Frank and Brianna told What Now Austin, adding that at least two or three of those pillars are incorporated into every class. The program follows a 52-week calendar with no repeated activities.

The Cristofols pointed to their positive experience with their son, Benjamin, who is enrolled in the program and has shown improvements beyond the soccer field, including in vocabulary and coordination, as well as carrying habits such as cleaning up into his home life. “It’s just second nature. They’re having fun and learning,” they said.

The couple, who live in Georgetown and have two young children, said they saw a gap in the local market for a program focused specifically on early childhood development. They chose The Junction after meeting developer Matt Marshall before the space was built.

“His enthusiasm and his positive spirit in the location, the convenience off of 35 was very enticing, and he really wanted to make it a family-oriented location,” Frank and Brianna said, adding that the plaza will also include other family-focused tenants, including a golf simulator and pickleball.

The decision to franchise with KidsUnited was rooted in their family values and their desire to become part of a strong community.

“We’re a very family-oriented business. We’re going beyond soccer… we want to have a positive impact on their child’s life. We want them to break away from the electronics and just really enjoy our program and love it like we love it, and our children love it,” the Cristofols told What Now Austin.

“We really want to make a positive impact on Georgetown,” they said, “and share the joy that our kids have at these programs.”
