Nora’s Cuisine is embarking on its second opening. The beloved Las Vegas Italian eatery is planning to open a new location in Boulder City’s revitalized downtown area at 538 Nevada Way, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Neon Blog.

Nora’s Cuisine owners announced this year that the eatery would be taking over the space that once belonged to the Milo’s, which closed shortly after owner Milo Hurst passed away nearly two years ago.

Construction on the new Nora’s Cuisine to come to Boulder City is now underway.

What Now Las Vegas briefly spoke with Nora’s Cuisine owner Marcello Mauro, who confirmed the upcoming opening. Unfortunately, Mauro was unable to share further details by the time of this publication.

“From hand-rolled pasta and fresh seafood to slow-simmered Sunday gravy and a carefully curated Italian wine list, every plate is made the way Nora intended. Locals across Las Vegas — from Summerlin to Henderson to the Strip — keep coming back, and with 5,500+ reviews averaging 4.6 stars, you’ll taste why,” the Nora’s Cuisine website reads.

“Whether you’re planning date night, a family dinner, or a private celebration in our banquet room for up to 100 guests, you’ll find authentic Italian food and warm hospitality just a short drive from anywhere in the valley.”

Nora’s Italian Cuisine started in 1992 as a tiny, 12-seat neighborhood pizzeria and trattoria on West Flamingo Road in Las Vegas, founded by husband-and-wife duo Nora and Gino Mauro. After nearly 25 years in its original strip-mall home, the Mauro family—led heavily by their sons, including youngest son Marcello—built and moved into a custom-designed, nearly 7,000-square-foot standalone building just 900 feet down the road at 5780 West Flamingo Road.

Today, Nora’s Italian Cuisine operates as a beloved Las Vegas staple, featuring a floor-to-ceiling wine cellar, an outdoor patio with bocce ball, and a spacious layout while continuing to serve classic family favorites like its famous “Crazy Alfredo.”
No word just yet on when exactly the new Nora’s will open. But, with construction underway, we suspect the new Nora’s Cuisine should be open by the end of this year. But keep your eyes peeled and your ears perked for the latest on this exciting new development.
Nora’s Cuisine is anticipated to open in Boulder City at 538 Nevada Way later this year.
(This is a developing story. As more information is made available, we will update this article. Stay tuned!)
