Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurants is continuing to expand its footprint in Georgia. The brand has plans to join Ashley Park in Newnan. It is slated to open near Regal Georgian at the development, according to a recent post from the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce and first reported by The City Menus.

CEO Tim McEnery launched Cooper’s Hawk in 2005, offering an upscale casual concept focused on quality food and wine. The winery and restaurant is “built upon the passionate belief that food and wine hold the power to forge lasting connections,” according to the website.

Cooper’s Hawk offers a Napa-inspired wine experience, and the restaurant offers a curated list of global wines. Alongside the beverage program, the food menu features pasta, burgers, sandwiches and protein-based entrees like filet mignon, chicken picotta and red wine braised short ribs.

The brand now has more than 70 restaurants open. Currently, Alpharetta has the only Cooper’s Hawk location in Georgia. Another location is on the way to Dunwoody in 2027. Other areas of expansion for the brand include South Carolina, Colorado, Florida, Ohio and North Carolina.
