A beloved Texas shaved ice institution is heading to Anna. According to public filings, Bahama Buck’s plans to open at 1004 W. Rosamond Pkwy., Suite 600. What Now Dallas reached out to franchisees Jaime and Karen Roseboro, who confirmed the opening is targeted for spring 2027.
Bahama Buck’s mission is to provide customers with the ultimate tropical dessert experience, combining a carefully curated menu with a relaxed, island-inspired atmosphere designed to help guests unwind. The menu features shaved ice in more than 100 original flavors, along with a variety of toppings.
According to the Roseboros, the vision at the heart of this location is to bless every guest by creating the ultimate tropical dessert experience. The location will mark the brand’s first in the Anna-Melissa area, with both a soft opening and grand opening planned. The Roseboros confirmed they will keep the community updated as the opening date approaches.
Founded in 1990 in Lubbock, Texas, by Blake Buchanan, Bahama Buck’s has grown into one of the most recognizable tropical dessert franchises in the country, with more than 100 locations across the United States.
The concept has built a loyal following across Texas for its ability to turn a simple treat into a full experience. The W. Rosamond Parkway location in Anna places Bahama Buck’s in one of Collin County’s fastest-growing communities.
What Now Dallas has previously covered the corridor’s growth, including a new Hand & Stone location planned for the same Rosamond Parkway area.
