A new restaurant specializing in roast pork appears to be in the works in Kissimmee.
This week, What Now came across plan review paperwork submitted by Lechonera Lake Nona Inc. for a new restaurant called “Lechonera De Kissimmee 1,” opening at 1205 John Young Pkwy.
According to Google Maps, the Lechonera De Kissimmee 1 is working toward an October opening. (It is not to be confused with another new restaurant, Lechonera Kissimmee, which is also opening soon, at 3092 Michigan Ave.)
What Now reached out on Tuesday to Jaden Chery, a partner in the project, to ask about plans for the opening. Chery was not immediately available for comment.
Opening in the building on John Young Parkway, Lechonera De Kissimmee 1 will join a community of nearby restaurants like Chino Rico, Kabayan Grill Filipino Restaurant, and Viktor Pollo.
