With more than 190 “Athletic Country Club” locations across the United States, including 10 in Florida, Life Time is a fitness brand “going beyond a gym.” Life Time spaces often include coworking, fitness, personal training, and its signature Life Cafe.
“We’re committed to help improve the way people live, work, play and think about all aspects of their health,” says the Life Time website.
This week, What Now came across a plan review submitted by LFT Club Operations Company Inc for a new Life Cafe at 1416 Bruce B Downs Blvd: the site of an upcoming Life Time location planned for Wesley Chapel.
Word spread about Life Time Wesley Chapel earlier this year. Coverage by The Wesley Chapel Loop described it as “The Future of Fitness in Wesley Chapel.”
“Expect a facility designed for Florida’s year-round outdoor appeal, complete with outdoor pools—a standout feature in similar Life Time locations,” says the Wesley Chapel Loop coverage. These could include lap lanes for serious training, leisure areas for relaxation, and spaces for aqua classes or family swims. The two-level indoor layout will likely offer generous space for everything from strength and cardio zones to specialized studios.”
A representative of Life Time declined to share details on the Wesley Chapel location at this time. According to The Wesley Chapel Loop, an opening is expected in 2027.
