O’Reilly Auto Parts appears to be planning a new Houston location at 1600 Aldine Bender Road.
A project filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation lists O’Reilly Auto Parts at the north Houston address, signaling another location for the automotive parts retailer.
O’Reilly Auto Parts currently lists 70 locations across Houston on its website.
Two existing stores are also located along Aldine Bender Road, at 5515 Aldine Bender Rd. and 845 Aldine Bender Rd., which would make the planned 1600 Aldine Bender Road store the retailer’s third location on the same corridor.
The company sells replacement automotive parts, tools, supplies, equipment, and accessories. Its product selection includes batteries, brakes, motor oil and other fluids, filters, cooling system components, ignition parts, alternators, starters, and vehicle accessories.
Depending on the location, O’Reilly stores also offer services such as battery and alternator testing, check-engine light scanning, wiper blade and bulb installation, used oil and battery recycling, and a loaner tool program.
The company was founded in Springfield, Missouri, in 1957, with its first store opening with 13 employees. O’Reilly now has more than 6,600 stores across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
Additional details about the planned Aldine Bender Road store, including its opening timeline and operating hours, have not been announced.
