NBA Courtside, the basketball-focused sports bar that opened in spring 2023 in Harbourfront at 15 Queens Quay East, is closing at the end of the month. Urban Dining Group, which operates NBA Courtside, will be renovating the space and bringing their neighborhood sports bar concept Gabby’s to the location.

However, Todd Sherman, president of Urban Dining Group, revealed that Gabby’s is not the only concept heading to the space along Queens Quay East. He shared in an email with What Now Toronto that they will be introducing two new concepts in the space alongside Gabby’s.

Daisy’s Cookies, expected to open in September, will serve as a boutique cookie shop, serving cookies made with real butter, single-origin chocolate, Canadian-sourced flour and local eggs. The cookies will be made in small batches and baked in house.

In addition to Daisy’s Cookies, Lucy’s Italian Kitchen will be joining the space, bringing fresh pasta to the Harbourfront neighborhood. The new concept will aim to serve as a neighborhood Italian restaurant. Lucy’s is also listed as targeting a September opening.
