Christian Louboutin on the Las Vegas Strip is currently closed for renovations. According to a sign outside the Aria Hotel & Casino, which houses The Shops at Crystals, where the Christian Louboutin store has been operating since 2015, the famous shoe store is slated to reopen this fall.
The Shops at Crystals sits on the Las Vegas Strip at 3720 S Las Vegas Blvd.
“This store is currently closed for renovation,” the Simon website reads.
Simon runs multiple malls throughout the country, including The Shops at Crystal Mall. The website lists the store, which became famous for its red-soled signature heels, as “coming soon” to level 2 of the mall.
What Now Las Vegas reached out to the Christian Louboutin Las Vegas Operations Manager, Jensen Handy, to find out more about the renovations at the store. Unfortunately, we did not hear back from Handy by the time of this publication.
“The French luxury footwear and handbag designer has taken the world by storm with his red-soled signature heels,” The Shops at Crystals website reads.

“The Shops at Crystals is home to the largest Christian Louboutin boutique in Las Vegas.”
French fashion designer Christian Louboutin opened his very first boutique in 1991 at the Galerie Véro-Dodat in Paris, marking the official beginning of the luxury footwear house. In the early 90s, the iconic red sole was born when Louboutin painted a shoe sole with red nail polish. The brand expanded internationally with a new store in New York City. In the 2000s, the house expanded globally, opening flagship storefronts in major fashion capitals like London’s Mount Street, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
By the 2010s, the brand had grown to over 150 shops worldwide, branching out into men’s footwear, handbags, beauty lines, and signature fragrances. There are now more than 160 Christian Louboutin boutiques operating across the globe in over 30 countries. There are three boutiques in Nevada, all of which are in the Las Vegas Valley.
What Now also reached out to Marissa Valbuena (Spina), Assistant Manager of Retail Operations for the Americas for the brand, to find out more about expansion plans. But we did not hear back by the time of this publication.
The Shops at Crystals listing indicates that the Christian Louboutin boutique is temporarily closed while undergoing a full renovation of its permanent retail space, operating out of a temporary space in the interim. Specific architectural design plans or aesthetic changes for the newly remodeled permanent storefront have not been publicly detailed by the brand.
We’re sure as we inch closer to reopening that more will be revealed. So keep your eyes peeled, and your ears perked for the latest.
Christian Louboutin is set to reopen in The Shops at Crystals on the Las Vegas Strip at 3720 S Las Vegas Blvd by this fall.
