Midnight Cravingz is gearing up to take on Cypress. The sweets shop is planning to open in the region within The Shoppes at Fry Road commercial center at 26321 Northwest Freeway, according to Community Impact.
“This will be our second-largest location, so we’re really excited about the amount of space we have. We plan on having games and plenty of room for people to sit, hang out, and enjoy themselves,” Midnight Cravingz owner and founder Yousif El-Samman said in an interview with What Now Houston.
“We wanted something in the heart of Cypress with easy access from Highway 290. We felt like this location gave us the opportunity to serve not only Cypress, but the surrounding communities as well.”
The plan is to open the new Midnight Cravingz store in Cypress this fall. The store will be celebrating its grand opening with 50% off.
Midnight Cravingz started as a late-night pop-up dessert shop in Spring, Texas, founded by owners El-Samman, Yaser El-Samman, and Abdulrahman Mostafa. The brand opened its permanent flagship location in Spring on April 3, 2025. Later that year, the popular late-night dessert brand opened in the Houston Galleria, adding arcade games and entertainment to the late-night dessert concept. Since its inception, Midnight Cravingz has grown rapidly across Texas, with multiple locations spanning Houston, Austin, and College Station. There are now nine Midnight Cravingz locations open, with five of those in the Greater Houston region.
“Midnight Cravingz is a late-night dessert and hangout spot,” El-Samman said.
“We’re known for our warm cookies paired with vanilla soft serve, but we’ve always wanted the experience to be about more than just dessert. It’s a place to come hang out and enjoy the night.”
