What Now reported back in May 2024 on the brick-and-mortar debut of Urban Crunch Creamery Cafe, the Tampa Bay-born ice cream and dessert shop that lets you “Step into an Ice Cream Dream.” Since then, Urban Crunch has expanded to the Hub at Bexley in Land O’ Lakes, and now, it’s preparing to open a third location, this time at the Hub at Lexington Oaks in Wesley Chapel.
The new Urban Crunch will celebrate its grand opening at 26935 Halter Loop in the middle of October, a representative confirmed with What Now on Thursday.
“Urban Crunch began as a family-run ice cream truck, growing through dedication to quality and community,” says the Urban Crunch website. “Today, we serve handcrafted ice cream made with fresh ingredients, blending classic and innovative flavors to satisfy every palate.”
Urban Crunch’s ice cream comes in flavors like Apple Strudel, NSA Mississippi Mud, Insta Graham, and Lets Go Bananas, and has even included vegan options like Vegan Chocolate Fudge Chip.
“We’re a small family-owned business,” co-owner Kyrsten Sabb told What Now last year. “We started with ice cream trucks back in 2021 and expanded into brick-and-mortar this past year. We’re young, and we love entrepreneurship.”
Now the brand is continuing to expand as Urban Crunch prepares to make its Wesley Chapel debut!
