Sanguich is preparing to expand to Doral as part of a broader South Florida growth plan. The Cuban sandwich restaurant, founded by husband-and-wife team Daniel Figueredo and Rosa Romero, has several new locations in development, including Doral, according to a recent interview with the couple. A specific opening date for the new Sanguich location has not yet been publicly confirmed.

The Doral opening is one of four locations the founders discussed during an episode of A Day in Miami. The other locations mentioned were Miami Lakes, Dadeland, and Wynwood. The company has not publicly announced a specific opening date for the Doral restaurant.

Sanguich began in Miami in 2017 and is known for Cuban sandwiches, including its Cubano, pan con lechon, pan con croqueta, and pan con bistec. The menu also includes croquettes, fries, empanadas, desserts, Cuban coffee, and batidos.

According to the company’s website, Sanguich currently operates locations in Little Havana, Little Haiti, Coral Gables, Bayside Marketplace, and Aventura Mall. The Coral Gables location is at The Plaza on Palermo Avenue, while the Aventura location is inside Aventura Mall.

The company’s expansion comes as Sanguich continues adding locations across Miami-Dade County. A Florida corporate filing shows that Sanguich Doral LLC was formed in March 2026, indicating that a separate business entity has been established for the planned Doral operation.
