Osaka Marketplace is preparing to open a new location at 155 Crescent Plaza, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523, in Downtown Pleasant Hill. The upcoming store was highlighted in a Visit Pleasant Hill social media announcement, while the company’s website confirms Pleasant Hill as part of its expansion plans.

Osaka Marketplace operates Japanese specialty grocery stores, with existing locations in Fremont and Foster City. According to the company’s website, its stores carry Japanese groceries and specialty products, with departments including fresh foods, seafood, prepared foods and imported merchandise.

The company’s Fremont location also includes a cafe and food court. According to Osaka Marketplace, the store offers Japanese groceries, fresh seafood, restaurant-quality Japanese food, beauty products, home goods, and other imported items.

According to Osaka Marketplace’s website, customers can pre-order sushi and other prepared items online for pickup. The pre-order service allows customers to select available items in advance and choose a pickup time when placing an order. The service is intended to provide an option for customers who want to arrange their purchases ahead of their visit.

Osaka Market also offers a free membership-based rewards program. Members earn one point for every $1 spent and can redeem points at a rate of one cent per point.  According to the program flyer, points do not expire and can be earned or redeemed during any transaction upon request at checkout. Members may also be eligible for additional discounts and exclusive promotional offers.
