Methi Indian Nepalese Cuisine, located at 1231–1255 S. California Blvd., Suite 1251, in Walnut Creek, is set to change ownership in November. Indra Prasad Subedi, who will take over the existing restaurant, told WhatNow that the transition is planned for the beginning of the month. The establishment will continue operating under the name Methi Indian Nepalese Cuisine.
Subedi confirmed that the restaurant would serve Indian and Nepalese cuisine. He said the menu would include North Indian dishes alongside Nepalese specialties, bringing the two culinary traditions together under one concept.
Among the dishes he specifically mentioned were momos and chow mein, both of which are commonly associated with Nepalese and broader Himalayan food traditions. Subedi described the planned menu as incorporating Himalayan flavors from Nepal alongside Indian dishes.
The restaurant will take over an existing business at the address rather than open in a newly established restaurant space. Subedi confirmed that the location was already operating as a restaurant and that the new team planned to assume control at the beginning of November.
Subedi also said that, although he had previously operated businesses in the beauty salon industry, this would be his first restaurant venture.
