Rooms To Go is planning a new furniture showroom in Leander, bringing a large retail space to Williamson County as the area continues to attract new commercial development.
According to a city filing, the proposed store will be located at 10021 183A Toll FR RD. The project calls for a 49,182-square-foot retail showroom, with construction scheduled to start January 1, 2027, and finish by December 31, 2027.
The estimated construction cost is $5.8 million. Plans include a fully sprinklered building with a monitored fire alarm system, along with site utilities and parking improvements.
Rooms To Go sells furniture for a range of spaces throughout the home, including living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and outdoor areas. Its collections include sofas, sectionals, beds, dining sets, mattresses and home décor, with coordinated furniture packages available for customers furnishing entire rooms.
The retailer’s showroom model gives shoppers the opportunity to explore furniture collections in person, while its website also allows customers to browse products and shop by room.
The planned Leander location would add another furniture-shopping option for residents in the growing Williamson County area. However, the state filing outlines the construction schedule rather than a confirmed store opening date, and Rooms To Go has not publicly confirmed when customers can expect the showroom to welcome shoppers.
More information about the retailer’s furniture collections is available at Rooms To Go’s website.
