EōS Fitness is embarking on opening its first Willis gym. According to the team behind the fitness brand, EōS Fitness signed a long-term lease to open a new gym in Willis, making this its first location in the city.
“This 40,000-square-foot, ground-up development will deliver an affordable, high-energy fitness experience to Willis residents, offering a mix of EōS’ signature amenities, state-of-the-art equipment, smart technologies, and innovative recovery options,” a spokesperson shared in an email to What Now Houston.
The new Willis EōS is expected to open at 1234 I-45 N. According to Community Impact, the fitness company is planning to open the new Willis gym in 2028.
“Nestled within the Montgomery County and North Houston corridor at 1234 Interstate 45 North, this newly built location continues EōS Fitness’ expansion across Texas, which currently operates 35 gyms within the state,” the EōS spokesperson said.
EōS Fitness was founded in 2014 after a private equity firm acquired a large regional portfolio of Gold’s Gym locations in the Southwest and rebranded them under a new “High Value. Low Price. (HVLP)” model. The entity that formed the foundation of EōS was initially a major Gold’s Gym area developer in Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Southern California, with operations kicking off in 2015.
“Not all gym equipment is created equal. At EōS, we bring you only the best the industry has to offer to ensure the best workout experience possible,” the EoS website reads.
“Cycling classes, strength training and cardio, dance and Zumba®, yoga and Pilates classes, water aerobics, and even Les Mills classes. EōS class options are unstoppable, and so are you.”
Today, the company is headquartered in Dallas, Texas, with 225 EoS Fitness locations operating or planned nationwide.
EoS Fitness is anticipated to open its first Willis gym at 1234 I-45 N by 2028.
