JETSET Pilates is working on opening another Greater Houston region studio. According to local franchisee and owner Ranbir Jamwal, JETSET Pilates will open in Humble at 4529 Kingwood Dr., Suite 130, in the Kingwood Town Center.
Jamwal and his wife, co-franchisee Dr. Vrinda Mohunta, are finalizing the lease agreement. If all goes well, we can expect the new Kingwood JETSET Pilates to open toward the end of the year or early next year.
“Vrinda Mohunta and Ranbir Jamwal aren’t newcomers to building businesses people trust,” Jamwal said in an email to What Now Houston.
“Vrinda, a board-certified prosthodontist, has built her career on earning patient trust through consistency and high-touch care, day after day, in a field with no room for shortcuts. Ranbir, an engineer and operator with a Kellogg MBA and a patent-holding R&D background, has spent his career turning rigor into results, whether leading teams or managing markets for one of the world’s largest steel manufacturers.”
Together, they already own and run a thriving dental practice in The Woodlands and are working on opening a JETSET Pilates in Conroe.
“Together, the pair bring a disciplined, KPI-driven approach to operations, team leadership, and service quality that translates directly to JETSET’s manager-led studio model,” a JETSET Pilates spokesperson shared.
JETSET Pilates was founded in 2010 by Tamara Galinsky and is headquartered in Miami, Florida. Galinsky discovered reformer Pilates while living in London after the birth of her first daughter. When she moved back to Miami in 2009, she could not find a high-energy, music-driven Pilates workout that matched her experience abroad, so she decided to create one.
She opened the original boutique studio in Miami’s South of Fifth neighborhood with just eight reformer machines. JETSET developed a signature 50-minute athletic, high-intensity, low-impact reformer Pilates session. Classes feature custom-designed reformers, continuous tension, seamless choreography, dimmed lighting, and curated music playlists.
“Our studio features expert-led group classes on state-of-the-art reformer equipment, combining a high-energy, full-body workout with the personalized attention of a boutique fitness setting,” Jamwal said.
JETSET Pilates operates more than 80 studio locations across the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom, with 400 total locations signed or in development.
JETSET Pilates is anticipated to open at 4529 Kingwood Dr., Suite 130, in the Kingwood Town Center by the end of the year or early next year.
