“Congratulations to Sassy Basskets on their exciting next chapter!” said a post published to the What is REALLY happening in LaBelle Facebook group this summer. “A new chapter is coming to downtown LaBelle as Sassy Basskets has officially announced the future home of its restaurant.”
Sassy Basskets is currently serving up a menu featuring offerings like a Country Fried Steak Sandwich, a BLT, and a Popcorn Shrimp Bassket. For the moment, Sassy Basskets’ Facebook profile gives its location as outside the LaBelle VFW.
However, recently submitted plan review documents cast light on the location of the brand’s future brick-and-mortar restaurant. The documents, submitted by Sassy Basskets LLC, appear to show an opening at 330 S Bridge St.
What Now reached out on Thursday to owner Amber Bass to ask about plans for the brick-and-mortar rollout. Bass was not immediately available for comment on the news, but stay tuned for updates as What Now awaits additional information.
