Wingstop, one of the country’s most recognizable chicken wing chains, is planning a new location in Haltom City. According to public filings, Wingstop could open at 3189 Denton Highway, Suite 40.

Wingstop is a food chain known for its focused menu of bone-in and boneless wings in a variety of bold flavors, along with seasoned fries, fresh-made ranch, and chicken tenders.

What Now Dallas reached out to tenant of the project and franchisee of other Wingstop locations, Steve Milam, to inquire about the opening timeline, but did not receive a response prior to publication. Public records list construction is scheduled to begin in late December 2026 and a completion date targeted for March 2027. However, dates listed in public filings are not always definitive.

What Now Dallas has tracked Wingstop’s steady expansion across Tarrant County extensively. Most recently, this outlet covered a new location planned for Oakland Boulevard in Fort Worth, as part of the brand’s continued push across the county.

This outlet has also covered a wave of Wingstop relocations across Tarrant County, including moves in Fort Worth and Arlington aimed at improving customer parking, along with a new restaurant on East Seminary Drive, and an earlier Camp Bowie West outpost.
