A proposed Downtown tower, tentatively called International Plaza, is already pre-leasing three years before its projected opening in 2019.

Michael Dahmer, senior director of leasing for Lee & Associates, this month posted a Loopnet listing for the conceptual 25-story mixed-use development. Lee & Associates has been charged with leasing the project.

The project could be anchored by a dual-branded hotel, with two levels of entertainment-focused restaurants and retail, Dahmer told What Now Atlanta in a telephone interview Wednesday.

“International Plaza is going to be a gateway into Atlanta for a partner hotel,” Dahmer said. “We’re already in talks with several major brands.”

The $75 million high-rise, being developed privately by “two individuals,” is at the earliest and most preliminary stages of development, according to Dahmer.

Dahmer is looking to lease the 50,000 square feet of available commercial space to restauranteurs, retailers, a health club, coffee shop, and a “Skybar Rooftop Lounge.”
