UPDATE (November 3, 2017): New Restaurant, Comedy Club Opening in Former Broadway Diner Space

Landmark, a chain of 24-hour diners around town, is now short one location.

The company’s Midtown restaurant, Broadway Diner, next-door to the Fox Theatre, quietly closed its doors late-August.

What Now Atlanta (WNA) reader Kimberly Wright, a weekly patron of Broadway Diner, brought the news to WNA’s attention in an email this week.

A trip to the restaurant Thursday, at 620 Peachtree St NE #206, confirms Broadway Diner has taken its final bow. A sign posted to the restaurant’s door reads “closed” in all caps, and the space has been gutted.

Landmark, with locations in Buckhead, Lindbergh-area, Downtown, and Hapeville, was not immediately available for comment.
