More space means more grub.

My Coffee Shop at Eastlake could soon go from being a Tall to a Venti.

Linda Buice-Bailey, owner of the neighborhood-oriented café, filed plans with City of Atlanta Monday to expand the kitchen and dining area.

The nearly 1,000-square-foot expansion at My Coffee Shop would allow for a more robust food offering, adding to already existing breakfast and lunch items like Chicken and Waffles, and the Mr. Otis Special, complete with pancakes, cheese eggs and bacon.

The shop, known for its basil lemonade, was created as a “home-like” space for guests, family and friends “to enjoy each other’s company, ” Buice-Bailey told What Now Atlanta Tuesday.

After the dust settles on My Coffee Shop’s expansion, Buice-Bailey is looking to wholesale her lemonade, securing distribution across Atlanta in restaurants and venues like the Braves Stadium, she said.

My Coffee Shop first debuted February 2012, and is open Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m to 3:00 p.m, Saturday 7:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m, and Sunday 8:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m.
