This is the ‘most significant expansion’ for the venue since its opening in 1929.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution (AJC) Friday obtained renderings of what The Fabulous Fox Theatre’s forthcoming rooftop and lounge expansion might look like.

The 10,000 square-foot renovation of the theatre’s current event space would be the “most significant expansion” for the venue since opening in 1929.

Called the “Marque Lounge,” the renovation includes a Moroccan-style premium guest area and two rooftop bars overlooking Peachtree Street.

“Patrons will be able to enjoy food and beverage service in the lounge, access to private restrooms, concierge guest services and parking as part of membership-based admission, but there will also be general admission ticketing upgrade opportunities.”

The new additions could open late 2017, according to the AJC.
