According to a recently filed permit, Yogi’s Bar & Grill is making plans to open its fourth location at 955 W 5th Ave, in Grandview, in the former home of Sammy’s on Fifth. As detailed in the filing, the scope of the work is projected to cost $100,000 and the majority of the work includes minor interior finish updates.
Per the architectural plans associated with the permit, the seating will include a mix of bar, four and six-top tables and patio seating, as well as a mezzanine area that features seating and an additional bar. The patio will feature seating for over 70 guests, while the main indoor dining area’s capacity will be 175, and an additional 55 in the mezzanine space.
Yogi’s Bar & Grill has two locations in Dublin, at 3880 Hard Rd and 5857 Karric Square Dr, as well as a location at 1126 W Henderson Rd, and is owned by Columbus Tavern Group, a company that is also behind The Filling Station and Novak’s Tavern & Patio.
The Yogi’s Bar & Grill menu offers shareable options like fried cheese curds and mini corn dogs, as well as wings, pizza, sandwiches, tacos, wraps and salads and soups. There’s also a full bar that features beer and cocktails, as well as a selection of soft drinks.
The timeline for opening the Grandview location isn’t clear, and What Now Columbus made multiple requests for comment from Columbus Tavern Group, but requests for comment were not returned.
