According to a recently filed permit, a new ice cream shop may be on its way to 2013 E Dublin Granville Rd, in the Village Centre shopping plaza. As detailed by Google Maps, other businesses in the shopping center include restaurants that serve Indian and African cuisines, with chain establishments such as Wendy’s, Dunkin’ and Chipotle nearby.
While the permit doesn’t outline what the name of the business will be, or what type of work will be done to remodel an existing tenant space and convert it into the forthcoming ice cream shop, according to details in the permit filing, the scope of the work is valued at $380,000.
Other details, such as the square footage of the space, seating capacity and menu details aren’t clear. What Now Columbus reached out to the ownership for further information, but a request for comment was not returned.
