Cherry Street Brewing is planning an 8,000-square-foot brewpub and beer garden for Forsyth’s forthcoming Halcyon development.

The Atlanta Business Chronicle the week first reported the news.

The new Cherry Street Brewing—situated in the $370 million mixed-use development’s “restaurant village”—will be the company’s second outpost. The first is situated in Cumming.

Cherry Street Brewing’s Halcyon concept will serve 16 of its craft beers on tap and “upscale pub food.” Seating will be communal-style.

The brewpub and beer garden will join previously announced tenants like Gu’s Dumplings, Tocayo, Kilwin’s Chocolate, Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee Company, Butcher & Brew and Never Enough Tyme, in Halycon.

The RocaPoint Partners and The Georgetown Co. development—now under construction—is expected to open in 2018.

The mixed-use development will offer two hotels, 690 residential units, and 480,000 square feet of office and retail space.
