UPDATE (February 7, 2018): Tootsies To Open February 7 in The Exchange

Haute couture women’s clothing store Tootsies this week filed plans with the City of Atlanta to build out a new space in the Exchange shopping center.

It is unclear if the store is relocating from its current home in the Shops Around Lenox or opening a separate location. Representatives from the boutique did not respond to What Now Atlanta’s requests for comment.

The new Tootsies space will take over two suites at the Exchange, the recently rebuilt shopping center at 3167 Peachtree Rd.

The budget for construction is $400,000, focusing mainly on refinishing the interior of the recently completed shell building.

Tootsies is a well-known boutique with locations in Houston, Dallas, and Atlanta.

The company is headquartered in Houston where its flagship store has a 35,000-square-foot space in the tony River Oaks neighborhood. By comparison, the applied-for space at the Exchange on Peachtree is 7,000 square feet.
